A VIVID NIGHT OUT IN CHIANG MAI
Details : Vivid nights in Chiang Mai
When the darkness is about to fall, bustling Chiang Mai is cooled down by the evening breeze. The City turns lively again. Sometimes, it is more comfortable for an easy night out.
In the old quarter, Wat Phra Sing and Wat Chedi Luang are lighted up and allow their sacred architectures to glow out of the dark deep blue sky. You will see the ancient Temples, which differ from during the day time. Wat Umong, known for its tunnels under the temple complex, will be covered by a magical atmosphere during twilight. If you go a little further to the adjacent doi suthep, you will certainly be amazed by the magnificent view of Chiang Mai at night with fewer tourists.
While making your way through the darkness, you may find many Food stalls come to life. An array of Local cuisines can be found across Chiang Mai; however, traditional northern-style Dinner or Khan Toke may be a more impressive option. The Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center offers the culturally rich Khan Toke dinner with traditional dances and performances.
Anyway, there’s always room for dessert. Take Chang Moi Road, which leads to Kad Luang or Warorot Market and you will find yourself on the road of yummy sweet dishes. Ua Chang Seng offers the best Kanom Khai and a wide selection of Hopia. Sundae Ice Cream in Ton Lam Yai Market offers Ruammit - chilled sweet coconut milk and tapioca noodle, with jackfruit and tiny boba. At Kad Luang, a stall under the stairs provides a great selection of traditional Thai dessert with a premium deliciousness.
